Many of us wish we had started skiing years ago. Give your children the opportunity, by bringing them to our Saturday Penguin or Snowcat Clubs, which are aimed specifically at children.
The Penguin Club runs every Saturday morning from 10.00 to 12.00 throughout the winter season (1st October to 31st March). The Penguin Club is for children aged 4 and above.
The sessions are an ideal environment for children to learn skiing and the emphasis is very much on safety, having fun and learning. Our qualified & experienced instructors offer a supportive environment enabling your child to have a great time on the slopes whilst safely learning new skills and making lots of new friends. Lessons are available for all standards from beginners through to advanced skiers.
The cost includes equipment hire and tuition. Membership of the Penguin Club is free.
The Snowcat Club runs every Saturday lunchtime from 12.15 to 14.15 throughout the winter season (1st October to 31st March).
The Snowcat Club is also for children aged 4 and above, but this session is a progression from the Penguin Club and is aimed at intermediates and above (i.e. not beginners)who are looking to further improve their skills. The cost again includes equipment hire and instruction. Membership of the Snowcat club is free.
For details of our available Penguin and Snowcat Clubs session times, see our online booking page here. Slope numbers are strictly limited, so please book as early as you can. To ensure you book the right session, read about skiing ability levels here.
Each child must bring a pair of strong gloves and should wear warm, flexible clothing, tracksuit bottoms and a warm long sleeved top are ideal. Long socks should also be worn. We also strongly recommend that helmets should be worn. Please also see our Before you Visit page.
Children must be over 4 years old to attend. We advise that a parent or person responsible should accompany children under the age of 8 years, for the whole session.
